The Always-On Retina display is a new addition to the Apple Watch’s display, which makes important information viewable even when raising or tapping the watch isn’t possible. This is a great addition to the glancing feature introduced in Apple Watch Series 2 back in 2016. Similar to this particular feature, the Always-On Retina Display allows the time and other information on-screen visible at all times, by lighting up the screen when the wrist is raised and dimming it down when it’s not.
