Apple this week began to sell certified refurbished 10.2-inch iPad models (cellular version) for the first time in the United States, Canada, and other countries. Compared with the new models, customers should expect a price discount of about 15%. The refurbished 128 GB 10.2-inch iPa sells for $469.

Like other refurbished products it sells, the refurbished iPad models have been thoroughly inspected, tested, cleaned, and repackaged in a brand new white box, including all accessories and documents. Every refurbished iPad will have a new battery and a new case, making them almost indistinguishable from a brand new iPad.

Of course, it's also covered by Apple's standard one-year warranty. If you use AppleCare+ with a 10.2-inch iPad, this coverage can be extended to two years, with a one-time charge of US$69 or US$3.49 per month in the United States for 24 months.

The 10.2-inch iPad launched in September 2019 power by an A10 Fusion chip, available in 32GB and 128 GB storage capacity, supports Smart Keyboard with Smart Connector and the first-generation Apple Pencil, Touch ID, and includes 8-megapixel rear camera, with a long battery life of up to 10 hours. It is available in three colors: Silver, Gold and Space gray.
