Apple Released iOS 10.0.3 With Fixes For Audio Haptic Feedback And Touch Input Unresponsive Issues

Apple today released iOS 11.0.3, the third official update to the new iOS 11 operating system. The new update includes bug fixes for iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and iPhone 6s. The iOS 11.0.3 update can be downloaded for free on all eligible devices over-the-air in the Settings app. To access the update, go to Settings - General - Software Update.

Apple first released iOS 11 for all customers on September 19, delivering several major new features to iDevices. Later the company released iOS 11.0.1 focused on bug fixes and security improvements and shipped on September 26, while iOS 11.0.2 fixed an issue causing crackling sounds to come from the iPhone 8 earpiece


Today's update addresses bugs and issues that have been discovered since the release of iOS 11.0.3. According to Apple's release notes, the update fixes issues related to haptic feedback that present on some iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus devices, the new version also fixes issue where touch input was unresponsive on some iPhone 6s displays.

In addition, Apple is also testing iOS 11.1 for developers and public beta testers which includes several new emoji characters, 3D Touch App Switcher, and other small tweaks. We're expected that the official update should come at the end of the month.
