Shortly After Pre-Order Starts, iPhone X Units Were Sold Out, With Shipping Date Slip To 5-6 Weeks

Pre-order supplies for new iPhone X are now largely sold out, with the new iPhone models displaying shipping estimates well beyond the November 3 launch date. As almost all models of iPhone X listed on Apple.com are now estimated to ship at least five weeks out, which means customers trying to order now won’t see the phone until December.

Some carriers are at least reporting slightly better availability, so if you are still looking for an iPhone X, it’s worth checking out your carrier stores. Apple has also said it will have in-store stock for walk-ins for the iPhone X launch on November 3rd. If you want to do this, you’ll need to start queueing at an Apple Store early as Apple expects very high-demand.

Apple began accepting pre-orders for the iPhone X at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time on Friday, October 27, and it took just minutes for shipping estimates to start slipping. Apple said earlier that they're iPhone X units available in Retail Store. Customers who were able to place an early iPhone X pre-order will begin receiving their devices starting next week. 

As for Pricing for iPhone X begins at $999 for a 64GB model and goes up to $1,149 for a 256GB model. The cost for iPhone Upgrade Program customers starts at $49.91 per month and goes up to $56.16 per month. iPhone Upgrade pricing includes AppleCare+ support. In the US, Apple to charge $279 for iPhone X Screen Repairs and $549 for Other Damage Outside of Warranty

The iPhone X brings a slew of changes to the iPhone, featuring a new Face ID biometric technology instead of Touch ID. There’s also a brand new 5.8-inch OLED display crammed inside a design that’s smaller than the iPhone 8 Plus. You also get a new bezel-less + notch design on the front side. In addition, the iPhone x also includes Animoji and an all-new dual camera on the back.
