Apple Reportedly To Launch Trio New Products In March, With Samsung Unveils Galaxy S9/S9+ Few Week Earlier

According to Taiwanese website DigiTimes, Apple to launch new products at a March event held at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park. The report said that the company to debut a new-generation iPhone (iPhone SE?), iPad and MacBook devices starting in March 2018.


Based on the rumors we heard recently, Apple could launch successor of iPhone SE -- SE 2, they could give the device a speed bump, like an A10 or even A11 chip, improved cameras, larger storage, better Touch ID sensor, remains Home button and headphone jack. But KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently cast some doubt on this possibility.

It's worth to note DigiTimes doesn't have a perfect track record. it have shared inaccurate information about both what is coming on Apple's roadmap, last year, they expected Apple to launch 10.5-inch iPad Pro at an April event that never transpired. But the Cupertino has unveils their products at March, so it's remain to be seen.

These makers have cutting-edge technologies or have newly tapped into the supply chains of Apple's consumer devices. It's believed that the Galaxy S9 will feature a single 12MP camera with variable aperture from f/1.5 to f/2.4, while the S9+ will feature the same variable aperture 12MP camera paired with a second 12MP camera with a fixed aperture. And Samsung will continue uses fingerprint sensors on the back, with less secure iris scanning and facial recognition as an option to unlock the phone.

Samsung to offer its Galaxy S9 and S9+ in Midnight Black, Lilac Purple, Titanium Gray, and Coral Blue. The Samsung Galaxy S9 will measure in at 5.8 inches like the iPhone X, the S9+ will measure in at 6.2 inches.
