Cellebrite, The Israel-Based Software Company Is Now Able To Crack Most iOS Devices On The Markets

The New report come from Forbes have suggested that a data extraction company called Cellebrite currently is now able to crack most of the iPhones available on the market. So for example, the Department for Homeland Security was successfully obtaining data from an iPhone X in an arms-trafficking case in November, by using the technology to do so.

As of now, Cellebrite hasn't publicly announced details on its ability to break into devices running iOS 11. But according to the Israel-based software company's PDF documentations, it appears that they can unlocking iOS 5 - iOS 11 devices, including iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, marketing its cracking techniques to law enforcement agencies around the globe.

Even through Apple is continuing to add security features into their products, like the iOS 11, you now required to enter passwords before trusting a computer. But still, companies like Cellebrite work to find new ways to crack iOS devices and then sell their services.

Perhaps you remember in 2016, FBI wants to unlock San Bernardino shooter Syed Farook's iPhone 5C, but they were not able to crack it, so the government agency hired Cellebrite to accessing the device after Apple refused to help the FBI.
