Samsung Unveiled Its Newest Galaxy S9 And S9+ Smartphones With Major Camera Updates

Samsung today unveiled its newest Galaxy S9 and S9+ flagship smartphones at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. From design-wise, the new Galaxy phones are about the same as last year's S8, with slightly slimmer bezels on the top and bottom. Samsung, however, focuses on major updates like the camera, stereo speaker, fingerprint scanner, and brings AR Emoji to its users, a feature similar to Animoji on iPhone X.

The S9 + introduces 1200W dual lens from the Note 8, but S9 is still a 1200W single pixel lens design. The biggest highlight of the camera is that Samsung uses a variable aperture system that has been featured on the W2018 before, not only giving you better low light conditions and hardware-based shallow depth of field effects, but also is free to switch between F1.5 and F2.4.
