KGI: Next-Generation Of Apple Watch To Using New Design, 15% Of Bigger Display, And Longer Battery Life

According to the reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who released another investor note today claimed that the next-generation of Apple Watch will be using new design with 15% bigger screen, alongside enhanced health monitoring and longer battery life.

The new models to be launched in the third quarter of 2018, Kuo says these new watches will have a 15% larger display. The analyst believes a combination of a ‘more trendy form factor design’, the addition of new sensors beyond heart rate monitoring, and packs with the larger battery capacity.

With the new design and the lowering price of older models, KGI believes that Apple will sell about 22-24 million Apple Watch units in 2018, that's up from 30% year-over-year. It's expected that the fourth-generation of Apple Watch to be released in the fall of this year.

Even through Kuo, as one of the most accurate Apple analyst, he doesn't say whether the overall chassis will grow in proportion. At present, Apple didn't immediately respond to a request for comment on the report. (Via 9to5Mac)
