Apple Officially Announced iPhone XS And iPhone XS Max With New Gold Color, Dual Sim, Larger Storage, And More

Apple has officially announced the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR during its special fall event at Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park today, where they announced iPhone XS, XS Max. The 5.8-inch version will be priced at $999, and the 6.5-inch model for $1,099.


The two OLED models are available in three colors: Space Gray, Gold, and Silver. While it continues to use its Super Retina Display, however, iPhone Xs feature a 5.8-inch OLED display, whereas iPhone Xs Max featured a 6.5-inch screen, it supports Dolby Vision and HDR10 and has the highest pixel density ever on Apple devices. 

Spec wise, all three new iPhones are powered by the A12 Bionic chip, which Apple says it's 50% faster and is the industry's first 7-nanometer chip. It includes 64GB, 128GB, and for the first time, a 512GB of storage space. The new iPhone XS and XS Max will have 4GB of RAM, while the iPhone XR only have 3GB of RAM. Meanwhile, battery life on Xs Max can last an hour and a half longer than iPhone X last year. iPhone Xs will have Dual Sim Dual Standby and eSim support.

Camera, however, saw decent updates on iPhone Xs, it not only includes advanced depth segmentation, Smart HDR, but also a more advanced bokeh quality in Portrait mode photos. Nevertheless, the 12MP dual camera system has new dual optical image stabilization with up to a 2x optical zoom, while the newly-added sensor is twice as fast. Video recording will also see huge improvements with 4 mics on iPhone Xs, it will create an amazing experience.

For availability, you'll be able to pre-order iPhone XS and XS Max on Friday, September 14, ahead of launch on Friday, September 21 in Australia, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UAE, UK, and the US.
