Apple Begins To Selling Its Sleep Tracking Company Beddit’s New Sleep Monitor

Back in 2017, Apple acquired the sleep tracking company Beddit, and now they are selling the new version of Beddit Sleep Monitor: Beddit 3.5. It looks pretty identical to the previous version, but it’s slightly smaller and weighs lighter, however, it remains the same price of $149.95.

The sleep monitor is currently available st Apple Stores and can expect to ship to users within a few days, it did receive FCC clearance for the product earlier this week. It also includes an iOS app to manage the tracker as well as view saved data that it collects when you asleep.

When you place the sleep monitor above the mattress and power it via USB, it will begin to collect data including the sleep time and efficiency, heart rate, respiration, temperature, movement, snoring, room temperature, and room humidity. Following up, the relative data will be synced to the Beddit app and Apple’s own Health app if a permission is given.

The sleep tracker can be purchased on Beddit official website as well. It needs iPhone 5s or later with iOS 12 or later, as well as all Apple Watch models with watchOS 4.3 or later to work properly. It is more than likely that Apple wants to improve Apple Watch’s sleep tracking features as it brought Beddit.
