Apple to continue Elevate in-store and online experiences despite Angela Ahrendts' departure

Apple announced yesterday that the company's Retail chief Angela Ahrendts to depart in April. Now, Business Insider has obtained a full memo from Apple CEO Tim Cook to the staff last night. The wording of this memo is similar to Apple's official press release, in which Cook reiterated that Angela Ahrendts will depart Apple to seek new "personal and professional pursuits."

As for the current "Vice President of People" Deirdre O' Brien, who will take over the position of Ahrendts, Cook listed the number of reasons to persuade people why she selected to be the next retail boss. For example, she has been a part of Retail’s exciting expansion and every product launch since.
Deirdre was part of the team that planned and launched Apple’s very first online and retail stores. She has been a part of Retail’s exciting expansion and every product launch since. She knows the value of the deep human connections that retail experiences make possible — and she knows this is where Apple shows its heart and soul.
Cook also mentioned the future of retail in the memo, in which he says that they'll continue to look for new ways to enhance in-store and online experiences, and build deeper relationships with customers, and look forward to what Deirdre can bring to her new role. in addition, O' Brien will oversee both the People team and Apple's Retail business.
