Apple Agains Rumors To Release iPhone With Triple-Lens Camera In Square Bump This Year

In January of this year, OnLeaks predicted that this year's high-end iPhone models would feature triple-lens rear cameras with a square bump design. And now, the Japanese blog Macotakara has confirmed the rumor and quoted the source is from a Chinese supplier.

The design of the new iPhone camera system is similar to that of the Huawei Mate 20, and is limited to the high-capacity version, which usually indicates it will be a high-end version. The Wall Street Journal also mentioned that only the high-end version of the iPhone 11 will adopt the triple-lens camera system, and they believe it will be the next generation of the iPhone XS Max.

Apple rumors predicted by Macotakara are considered to be relatively accurate, but, this report predicts that the 5.8-inch iPhone 11 may also support this form of design, so it's unclear whether if Macotakara true and WSJ wrong. One thing is for certain, that this rumor has backed up by many other analysts and leaks, notably Ming-Chi Kuo and Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.

According to the site, the accessory for the next generation iPhone is already under development and it will include a hole on the back. Meanwhile, iPhone XR successor is believed to have a dual-lens design like this year's iPhone XS and XS Max models
