iOS 13 Developer Beta 3 Changes and Updates

Apple released the third beta of iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 to developers. They brought many cool changes to the iOS 13 beta, along with new features. Let’s sum it up on the difference between iOS 13 beta 2 and 3.

First, the iOS 13 developer beta depicts changes from extra shortcuts to minor changes. The shortcuts include a context menu by pressing on tabs in Safari and the Quick Actions shortcuts in iPadOS. iPadOS Quick Actions shortcuts now function as it’s supposed to be. On the other hand, action buttons on iPadOS keyboards have been redesigned.

Second of all, there’s been changed in the UI in this iOS 13 betas. There is a new AirPods icon for AirPods 2 with wireless charging, with a green dot in front of the AirPods case. The search boxes are blacked out regardless if Dark Mode is on or not. Context menus get a revamped “X” button, with the elimination of the QuickTime picture when playing video files in the Files app. The dictation button on keyboard has changed and the angry Memoji stickers are now stronger and angrier. All of this are minor changes, but some people believed the black search bars are a bug in iOS 13 beta.

Finally, the Notes, Mail and Reminders app gets revamped with significant changes. Notes get a new splash screen, with a folder layout and some extra arrows. Mail gets a purple-colored archive button and URL attaching is now available in Reminders. Colors and glyphs were revamped in Reminders as well.

To conclude, iOS 13 beta 3 and iPadOS 13 beta 3 for developers has the most changes in design and added functionality. iOS 13 public beta 2 and iPadOS public beta 2 will be released sooner later during this month. We hope that you enjoy beta testing iOS and iPadOS this summer!
