Apple Maps' Look Around feature has now rolled out to users that lives in the Boston, Philadelphia, and the Washington, D.C. area, according to a report published by MacRumors.
Similar to Google Street View, Look Around is a feature that Apple introduced in iOS 13, it lets you to explore select cities with an interactive 3D experience that gives you a 360‑degree view of a place, it offers smooth and seamless transitions as you navigate your way around.
Look Around is available in major US cities including San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, New York City, Las Vegas, Houston, the Hawaiian island of Oahu, and the three newly-added places, it's expected that the feature will come to more cities in the future, although a specific date is not yet known.
In the meantime, users can explore the cities where Look Around is usable by tapping on the binoculars icon that will appear in the top-right corner of Apple Maps, which will launch a street-level view in the card overlay at the top of the screen.
iOS 13 brings additional new features to the Maps app, including Collections to easily share favorite restaurants, travel destinations or places to shop with friends, and Favorites for navigating to frequent destinations, such as home, work, the gym or school, with a simple tap from the launch screen.
