All US Apple Store Remains To Be Closed Until May

Apple informed employees that all US Apple Store retail stores will be closed until May. Additionally, the internal memo stated that the management held a meeting on the COVID-19 pandemic every day.

Apple Retail Chief Deirdre O'Brien said that Apple continues to evaluate local conditions for any Apple facility on a regular basis and that they will make re-opening decisions on the basis of comprehensive, careful assessments and latest guidance from local governments and public health experts.

Previously, it is expected that Apple retail stores outside Greater China will resume operations in early April. But now with the worsen coronavirus situation, it is almost impossible to resume business.

In March, Apple closed all its 458 stores outside of China and urged its employees to work from home as a measure to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.
