Apple Releases iOS 13.4.1 And iPadOS 13.4.1, Bring FaceTime & Bluetooth Bug Fix

Apple has publicly released iOS 13.4.1 and iPadOS 13.4.1, which comes two weeks after the release of iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4. The updates are now available for download on iPhones and iPads by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update.

iOS 13.4.1 addresses an issue whereby devices running iOS 13.4 were unable to engage in FaceTime calls with devices running iOS 9.3.6 or earlier or OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 or earlier. Additionally, the update also introduced fixes for a bug with the Settings app where choosing Bluetooth from the quick actions menu on the Home screen would fail.

On the iPad, the 13.4.1 update addressed an issue on iPad Pro 12.9-inch (4th gen) and iPad Pro 11-inch (2nd gen) where the flashlight may not turn on after tapping the Flashlight icon in Control Center or on the Lock screen.

iOS 13.4.1 release notes:

Apple is currently beta testing iOS 13.4.5, which includes the ability to share songs from Apple Music on Instagram Stories as well as Facebook Stories. 9to5Mac says it also includes references for new iPhone models with Touch ID, Express Card, and indications of Apple working on the CarKey feature.
