Molds Seemingly Confirms iPhone 12 To Adopt iPad Pro-Style Design

We have heard that the 2020 iPhone lineup will include four different models and will adopt a design similar to the iPhone 4's. Today, Twitter user @Jin_Store shared images that show what he claims to be the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 molds, which appears to be featuring an iPad Pro-Style design...

From the photos, the design of the iPhone 12 models is pretty much in line with other leaks that have circulated out of the supply chain: iPad Pro-style flat edges that are a notable shift from existing models.

There is one image, however, gives us a firm idea regarding the screen size of the iPhone 12 models. Reports have so far suggested that Apple will launch a 5.4-inch ‌‌iPhone 12‌‌, a 6.1-inch ‌‌iPhone 12‌‌, a 6.1-inch ‌‌iPhone 12‌‌ Pro, and a 6.7-inch ‌‌iPhone 12‌‌ Pro Max.

User @Jin_Store also shared a number of CAD drawings. What is striking about it, is that although it seems that the iPhone 12, 12 Pro, and 12 Pro Max will have a square cutout on the rear panel to accommodate the triple-lens camera module, LiDAR Scanner, does not appear to be present.

iPhone 12 Pro has been rumored to include triple-lens camera setup and LiDAR sensor, whereas the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Plus/Max reportedly to sport a rear dual-lens camera arrangement.

Because CAD drawings and molds are commonly used by case makers to prepare their accessories for upcoming iPhone launches, don't expect this to be 100% accurate, who knows, maybe they just made the molds based on leaks.
