OnePlus 6 Unveiled With iPhone X-Liked Notch Design, But Continued To Feature Headphones Jack

OnePlus, the company is well-known for pumping out devices faster than you can buy them, has released yet another flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 6, following 6 months after it launched OnePlus 5T, and it didn't forgot to poke fun at Apple's headphone jack removal decision.

From the design viewpoint, it featured iPhone X-liked notch design that OnePlus says it's a frustrating move, because its own technology is still unable to achieve a true full screen, and OnePlus wants to give consumers as much space as possible. However, OnePlus 6 continues to include a headphone jack, so Carl Pei, OnePlus co-founder making a joke at Apple's expense for removing headphone jack.


Likewise, OnePlus sported dual vertically positioned rear camera that's 16 + 20 megapixels, a 6.2-inch OLED screen, resolution of 2160x1080, and to support full-screen gestures, navigation bar can also be hidden, and shipping alongside the new $69 OnePlus Bullets Wireless headphones.

Configuration wise, OnePlus 6 featured with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, running Android 8.1 operating system, with 6/8G of memory, 3300 mAh battery capacity, and a minimum of 64GB storage. It also supporting facial recognition capabilities, Dual SIM, fast charging, rain resistance, and the long-awaited NFC feature.

As for pricing, In Europe, OnePlus 6 starting price is 519 euros, in the U.S., OnePlus 6 is priced at $529 for 64GB, whereas 128GB cost $569. It offers in several colors, including the Mirror Black, Midnight Black, and Silk White.
