According to DigiTimes, the latest news from the supply chain said that Apple has a large backlog of iPhone X that is almost three times the number of iPhone Xs they already shipped. The report said that these do not refer to the finished product, but rather inventories are composed of a mixture of components such as the glass back and chassis.

Although there is a backlog of inventories, the article pointed out that this didn't affect Apple's performance. In addition, these components may continue to be used on this year's new iPhone.
