Apple's latest feature designed for hospitals and medical providers to improved experiences for patients, Health Records, now supports nearly 80 providers, reports VentureBeat. Apple has updated a list of clinics that support Health Records ahead of a talk from Apple's Clinical and Health Informatics lead Ricky Bloomfield, M.D. given at the ONC 2nd Interoperability Forum.

When the Health Records feature first launched alongside iOS 11.3, it worked with just only 12 healthcare providers, that number went up very quick with recent additions include Kaiser in Oregon and Washington, Baptist Health, Buffalo Health, Greater Hudson Valley Health System, UC San Diego Health, UCLA Health, and others.

According to Bloomfield, the feature will be great for users with an easy, straightforward experience, as users will see the benefits of all the work by Apple and health care providers on Health Records later this year. Furthermore, it can connect with partner systems using FHIR to collect data and show it right on a user's device, and Apple promised it to stay private unless you share it.
