Kuo: MacBook Air W/ Touch ID, Apple Watch W/ EKG, And iPad Pro With USB-C Interface To Release This Year

Ming-Chi Kuo, probably the best Apple analyst in the planet, has just released new research note and claiming that Apple will announce several products and what will it be the new highlights of these devices, which including MacBook Air, IPad Pro, iPhone, and Apple Watch.

Firstly, Kuo expects this year's iPad Pro will adopt a USB-C interface instead of Lightning connector, and it will ship with 18W power adapter. However, the analyst doesn't expect 2018 iPhone to comes with USB-C port, but rather remain to use lightning port.

Furthermore, Kuo said the upcoming MacBook Air model to replace current one. Surprisingly, he believes the new lower-priced MacBook to support Touch ID fingerprint authentication, but, no Touch Bar feature. The MacBook Air also to have Retina display and new Intel processors.

The reliable analyst believes all Apple Watch Series 4 models will feature ceramic backs, it will pertain to the sensor cover, instead of the casing. Kuo also predicts Series 4 models will have electrocardiography (ECG/EKG) functionality for your heart health, obviously.

Last but not least, the 6.1-inch iPhone will not have lots of supplies, echos recent Bloomberg’s claims. And, Ming-Chi Kuo thinks AirPower wireless charging mat and AirPods is on the track to release by the end of the year.
