iMessage, one of the reason that most users don't switch to Android, in recent years got even better. However, if you joined a group conversation or just simply texting friends and family, your iPhone will keep buzz until you respond to them. Luckily, there is a way that mute a certain group chat and people who keep texting you, here is how to do it!
With this enabled, your iPhone won’t ring, vibrate or light up when you receive a message from the conversation. Yet, these messages will still be visible on your Lock screen, but unlike before, where your device will light up to notify you a message has received. Surely, this trick will help from being disturb, and a great way to stay away from your devices.
- Choose conversation that you want to mute, don't click on it
- Swipe from right to left on the conversation will have two options: Hide Alerts & Delete
- Then tap on the Hide Alerts to mute the conversation
- Once you tapped on it, a Do Not Disturb icon will appear near the person’s name
- And that's it
