New iPad Pro Size Leaks Allegedly Claims That Apple Will Only Going To Redesign The 12.9-Inch iPad Pro

It's confirmed that Apple host an event on October 30th in New York City, rumors and leaks implies the company will announce new iPad Pros and Macs. The iPad Pro, however, is said to be redesigned with some iPhone XS design elements, such as no Home button, slim bezels, TrueDepth camera for Face ID and Animoji. Now, couple Weibo posts said that Apple will only be going to redesign 12.9-inch iPad Pro.

A Weibo post claims that upcoming iPad Pro will have two sizes. Among them, the larger size is 211 × 276 (mm), and the smaller size is 174.7 × 243.5 (mm). For the sake of comparison, current 10.5-inch iPad Pro model measures at 174.1×250.6 (mm), whereas the current 12.9-inch version has a dimension of 220.6×305.7.

Based on above two sizes, another Weibo post said that the small size version is closer to the current 10.5-inch iPad Pro size so it may be that the iPad Pro maintains the original design and upgrades the hardware. Meanwhile, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro is a lot smaller, which means it could use the full-screen design since it's full-screen, why not make the size smaller to keep the price down.

In addition to size and design change, the new iPad Pro models could switch from Lightning ports to USB-C that would allow the device to be an external display. New Apple Pencil could pair like the way you pair the AirPods. All of the other features that are expected to be included are an A12X chip, a new magnetic connector, and wireless charging.
