Apple has announced its latest retail store, Apple Champs-Élysées Paris, which will open on Sunday and replace the permanently-closed Apple Carrousel du Louvre. This could very well be the 510th store that the company so far opened across 26 countries at least, since it just opened its first Apple Store last week in Thailand, namely Apple Iconsiam in Bangkok.

The Paris Apple Store is based in a "Haussmann-era apartment building," however, the company has added its own standard design elements it also has copied some historic touches: using Burgundy stone, and lining the upper floors with French oak parquet, which further highlight the interconnected spaces of the Parisian apartment. The roof light is designed collect the energy from the solar panel, and deliver water to trees.

As with other Apple Stores, it also offers Today at Apple sessions, which focus on photography, music, coding, and design. "I hope that everyone who visits Apple Champs-Élysées will be inspired to unlock their creative curiosity and learn something new," says Angela Ahrendts, Head of Retail in Apple.

According to the company, the shop employs more than 330 staff, including over 100 newcomers that is from stores in Paris and around the world. Staff members will welcome customers when the Apple Champs-Élysées opens its doors on Sunday at 12.00 p.m. local time.
