AT&T To Debut Power Drum Apple Watch & iPhone Wireless Charger

According to the filing submitted to the FCC, US carrier AT&T seems to be interested in the wireless charger accessory market. AT&T will introduce a charger that supports wireless charging for both the Apple Watch and iPhone, as the charger has a built-in 3000 mAh battery that can be used as a power bank.

Apparently, the AT&T wireless charger is called the Power Drum, just simply put the Apple Watch on the front of the charger, while placed the iPhone on the top of the accessory. The Power Drum uses the Qi standard and can output 10W of power, although the iPhone wireless charging limited to only 7.5W.

As for compatibility, it supports Apple Watch Series 3, Series 2, Series 1, and Series 0. While the Series 4 wasn't listed, it most likely to support it nevertheless, it will probably support all iPhones with wireless charging as well. The input to the Power Drum is Micro USB, instead of the hottest USB-C, sadly.

It's unclear when will the Power Drum be available to consumers, it's priced at $99.99, however. (Via Zatz Not Funny)
