Apple Announces Third-Party Smart TVs To Support AirPlay 2 And iTunes Content

Apple has surprisingly announced that Samsung's Smart TVs to support iTunes video content, AirPlay 2, Siri, and more. It's understood that feature will be coming to 2018-2019 Samsung Smart TVs through a software update, as Apple claims that AirPlay 2 will be available to other TV manufacturers.

Leading TV manufacturers are integrating AirPlay 2 directly into their TVs, so now you can effortlessly share or mirror almost anything from your iOS device or Mac directly to your AirPlay 2–enabled smart TV. You can even play music on the TV and sync it with other AirPlay 2–compatible speakers anywhere in your home.
Once the feature is enabled, users can view, buy and rent the entire iTunes movies and TV shows. At the same time, iOS users can stream their content to their Smart TV without the Apple TV. You can now easily play, pause, fast-forward, rewind, and adjust the volume on your TV as well, and even ask Siri to send a video to your devices.
