Samsung has begun mass production of 1TB eUFS (embedded universal flash storage) flash storage chips, it uses Samsung's fifth-generation V-NAND technology. It has been a hot topic for users that iPhones don’t include the microSD card slot to include double the storage. However, with a 1TB flash storage chip, there’s no need for a memory card, as the iPhone can reach the laptop-level storage.
In addition, to have higher capacity, eUFS technology is faster than the standard SSD and microSD memory cards, with a continuous read speed of 1000Mbps and a random read speed of 58000 IOPS. Even more impressive, the 1TB flash storage chip size is the same as the current 512GB one.
