Apple Released tvOS 12.2.1 With Bug Fixes And Performance Improvements

Apple today pushed the tvOS 12.2.1 update to all fourth-generation Apple TV or Apple TV 4K users, its predecessor - tvOS 12.2 was released last month. tvOS 12.2.1 did not include new features, largely based on bug fixes and performance improvements. You can go to the Settings app on your Apple TV, and check for updates from there.


In case you are wondering, tvOS 12.2 brings the ability to ask Siri on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to play what you want to watch on your TV, and control what’s playing. In addition, you can now access the Apple TV Remote right of the Lock screen on your iOS devices, hence you can easily play, pause, rewind, and control your Apple TV by simply a tap.

Currently, tvOS 12.3 is being tested and includes a new TV App and Apple TV Channels features, in which it let users can subscribe directly to Showtime, Starz, The Smithsonian Channel, and Tastemade, and will support HBO, CBS, and other channels in the near future.
