iPhone 8 Plus Portrait Mode Issues Fixed on iOS 12.3.2

Apple released the public version of iOS 12.3.2. This iOS version is released a month after iOS 12.3, which is the last major version of iOS 12. Here are the bug fixes and changes you need to know about this update.

iOS 12.3.2 is released two weeks after iOS 12.3.1, which made several bug fixes and improvements from the past version. This update is only specific to the iPhone 8 Plus and is not available to other iOS devices. It is also not a security update.

Apple’s release notes on iOS 12.3.2 include bug fixes made for the iPhone 8 Plus. They consist of the inability to take Portrait Mode photos with the depth effect in the camera, which ends up in a still image. This issue does not apply on the iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max.

Altogether, this iOS update is only available for iPhone 8 Plus due to this specific issue and does not depict of any security patches. Apple is also working on the next and final major software update, named iOS 12.4. Beta testing for iOS 12.4 is still underway and it’ll be released later this summer.
