16-Inch MacBook Pro Now Rumor To Be Launched In September

Rumors about the 16-inch MacBook Pro continues today, as the Taiwanese media Digitimes claims that Apple has asked Quanta to start production of the new MacBook Pro. The 16-inch MacBook Pro will continue to use the LCD screen supplied by LG, the same size as the 15-inch MacBook Pro, but due to the ultra-narrow bezel design it uses, the screen size will be 16 inches, with a resolution of 3072×1920.

Last week, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said in a report that Apple's upcoming 16-inch MacBook Pro laptop to feature the scissor keyboard instead of "butterfly" "keyboard. The "butterfly" keyboard suffered from some practicality due to the pursuit of thinness design, causing Apple to some headaches, which is clearly the reason why Apple wants to replace the "butterfly" keyboard.

As for the release date of the 16-inch MacBook Pro, there are still some conflicts in the media reports. Apple generally releases new Macs in October, but this is at least the second report that says the 16-MacBook Pro will be launched in September, so no matter what, the laptop should be available this fall.

Alongside the 16-inch MacBook Pro model, Apple is also expected to update the 13-inch MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models this fall, but no further information was given. However, Kuo commented earlier this month that an updated MacBook Air with Scissors Keyboard is coming later this year, although Apple has just recently updated the Air model with True Tone display.
