The girl named Kayla Ramos, who was holding the iPhone 6 in her hand and noticed that the phone was sparkling everywhere. Ramos said that when she threw the iPhone 6 on the carpet, and sure enough that the carpet burned a lot of holes. At the same time, she said that she only uses her iPhone to watch YouTube videos, but has occasionally lets her younger siblings play games with it.
“I was sitting down, and I had my phone in my hand and then I saw sparks flying everywhere and I just threw it on a blanket,” said Ramos. “I was right here on the bed and the phone managed to burn through this blanket and make these holes,” said Ramos.
Ramos’s mother, Maria Adata, said she had contacted Apple and that she had her instructions to send the phone to the service center. Apple has then provided them with a new phone and began investigating the cause of the explosion.

Now, there are countless reasons for the iPhone to catch fire, including the use of unauthorized charging cables and aftermarket repairs. However, in this incident, users said that their iPhone 6 has never done this kind of processing, and their daily use is particularly compliant. As of writing, Apple has not commented on this matter.
