Fifth Beta Of iOS 13 And tvOS 13 Now Available, Here Is What's New

Apple today released the fifth developer betas for iOS 13, iPadOS, and tvOS 13. Developers are demanded to sign up for Apple's Developer Program if haven't done that already, and download the profile for these updates from Apple's Developer Center, so you can install iOS 13, and tvOS 13 via the Settings app's Software Update tab.


iOS 13 introduced system-wide dark mode, delivering an entirely fresh look and feel to the iPhone; new ways to browse and edit photos and securely sign in to apps and websites, along with new Volume HUD that won't take up the entire screen anymore. iOS 13 is also optimized to speed up app launches, apps will use less space; while Voice Control allows users to take full advantage of their voice to control the device.

Based on iOS, iPadOS for iPad adds a number of powerful new features, in addition to bringing a new way of using apps in multiple windows, a more detailed view of the redesigned Home screen, the iPad can now read and writes files from external accessories, such as USB, camera, and more. What's more interesting is that Apple also added mouse support for iPad as an Accessibilities feature.

tvOS 13 for Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K gains support for picture-in-picture, which allows you to continue watching TV shows or movies while using other apps, and multi-user support.

Everything new in iOS 13 Beta 5:

  • You can adjust Home screen icon density on iPad: a  4×5 grid of apps, or a 6×5 grid of apps.
  • The share sheet has been redesigned again on iPadOS and iOS with groups app-specific actions
  • The 5Ge and 4G and LTE icon is now larger, matches the height of the status bar
  • Six new wallpaper added to the Home app
  • Volume HUD appears to be slimmer, also includes haptic feedback when adjusting
  • New wallpapers with a completely black background
  • Personal Hotspot  now located within Cellular settings
