New Analyst Report Says iPhone 11 Will Getting Apple Pencil Support

According to a list of upcoming features that Citi Research expected to see in the 2019 iPhone models (via Business Insider), one of them is the possibility to introduce support for Apple Pencil, a stylus that's designed for the iPad, it was introduced alongside the original iPad Pro in 2015, and has since been expanded the compatibility to other tablets like the new iPad Air, iPad mini, and six-generation iPad.

Noted that it is not the first time a report has suggested that Apple may bring the Apple Pencil to its smartphones. Kuo, for example, predicted in last fall that although Apple Pencil won't support the 2018 iPhones, Apple might bring it to a future iPhone. At the same time, South Korea-based publication The Investor said in a report that iPhones with support for an Apple Pencil-like stylus could launch as early as 2019.

Asides from the Apple Pencil compatibility, the Citi report also echoed recent reports and rumors we have heard about the next iPhones, including triple-lens rear camera system on two high-end models, longer battery life, 10-megapixel front-facing camera, and 14-megapixel rear cameras.

As for the pricing of the 2019 iPhones, Citi expects it to be the same as previous models, in which the iPhone 11 Max will start at $1,099, iPhone 11 at $999, and iPhone 11R for $749. Apple will most likely to host an event in September to announce the three new iPhone models.
