A new research report by noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that the iPhone SE 2 will feature an LCP or liquid crystal polymer antenna design for better wireless transmission and further confirmed the low-cost smartphone is likely to arrive in 2020.
Kuo has also shared other details on the iPhone SE 2, including claiming the device won't be the same size as the original and have dimensions similar to the iPhone 8, like the 4.7-inch display and Touch ID home button. He also expects the iPhone SE successor will have an A13 processor with 3 gigabytes of memory, ship with 64GB and 128GB storage options and come in Space Gray, Silver, and Red.
Like its predecessor, iPhone SE 2 is said to won't include the 3D Touch feature, instead, Haptic Touch will replace it, an alternative solution based on software. The phone reportedly will be priced at $399 in the US, and it’s anticipated that the shipments will be between 2 million and 4 million units per month, with 30 million expected to be sold by the end of the next year.
In his report, Kuo believes that Apple's current manufacturer Murata will supply Apple's "iPhone SE 2" antenna components in early 2020. plus other factors could lead to the model being launched by the end of the first quarter of 2020 calendar, just in time for Apple's spring event.

All in all, this is basically an iPhone 8 with updated internals, so it's still unclear whether Apple will call it "iPhone SE 2" or perhaps "iPhone 9."
