Apple has launched its Smart Battery case for iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max today, which are now available for purchase from Apple's online store for $129.
At a glance, the cases are look so similar to the ones that Apple offered for iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max, aside from the the square-shaped camera cutout. However, there is a handy upgrade that has been added to this year’s case: a dedicated camera button that automatically launches the Camera app. A quick press of the button takes a photo or selfie and a longer press captures QuickTake video.
The case is made of the silky, soft-touch finish of the silicone and there is a soft microfiber lining inside of it that helps protect your iPhone. The Smart Battery Case is currently available in White, Black, and Pick Sand, noted that the iPhone 11 version do only come in two colors: White and Black.
Smart Battery Case is also compatible with Qi-certified chargers, allowing you to charge your iPhone and battery case simultaneously. Even better, the Smart Battery Case offers up to 50% longer battery life. With the Smart Battery case on, the smart battery status will be displayed on the iPhone Lock Screen and the Notification Center, so you know precisely how much charge you have left.
The case can be charged further quicker with USB-PD compliant chargers. It also supports lightning accessories such as the Lightning Connector EarPods or the Lightning Digital AV Adapter.
