Apple released new iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max battery cases today. The cases are the same as the previous generation cases in earlier iPhone models, with a few minor additions to it. The cases have a hidden button used as a shutter button for the iPhone’s camera app and charge via wireless charging.

These iPhone battery cases have a camera button located below the side button, which launches the Camera app on the iPhone. Press it once and it takes a picture, and press and hold the button to capture a QuickTake video. This new camera function is convenient for iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro users to take selfies as well.

In terms of charging the battery case, the case now has wireless charging and universal compatibility with Lightning accessories. The wireless charging support allows Qi wireless chargers to charge the case and the iPhone simultaneously. On the other hand, the Lightning port allows iPhone users to connect Lightning cables, dongles and even fast charge their iPhone via the Lightning to USB-C cable (included with iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max models) for PD fast charging.

All in all, the new battery cases for the iPhone 11 series costs $129 each regardless of the iPhone model and is available for purchase on the Apple website. The cases will be arriving at the earliest time on November 25th if ordered before this weekend.
