iOS 13.2.2 And iPadOS 13.2.2 Released With RAM Management Fixes

Apple has released iOS 13.2.2 and iPadOS 13.2.2 today, the latest round of updates followed the 13.2 build that's released just a week ago. Users are advised to download and install the update via the Settings app, then General -> Software Update.

According to Apple's release notes, iOS 13.1.3 fixed the poor RAM management issue in iOS 13.2. It is manifested that when the user opens a certain app, other apps are cleared in the background, notably, an app that occupies a large RAM space (such as the Camera or Safari) that might cause all background apps to be reloaded, and thus lost the app progress. Another major bug fixes is that of users could lose cellular service after a call. Here are the release notes for iOS 13.2.2 and iPadOS 13.2.2:
iOS 13.2.2 includes bug fixes and improvements for your iPhone. This update:

- Fixes an issue that could cause apps to quit unexpectedly when running in the background
- Resolves an issue where iPhone may temporarily lose cellular service after a call
- Addresses an issue where cellular data may temporarily not be available
- Fixes an issue that caused replies to S/MIME encrypted email messages between Exchange accounts to be unreadable
- Addresses an issue where using Kerberos single sign-on service in Safari may present an authentication prompt
- Resolves an issue where charging may be interrupted on YubiKey Lightning-powered accessories
Apple currently is also testing the new iOS 13.3 beta, which includes new Screen Time communication restrictions that limit the time kids spend on their phone for messaging and FaceTime purposes, it added option to not display the emoji button on the keyboard in keyboard setting, and lastly the Digital Crown of the Apple Watch app icon is grayed out, whereas before it was black.
