Apple Planning Launch For Apple Watch Series 5 (PRODUCT)RED Next Year

According to the French website WatchGeneration, Apple may plan to expand the Apple Watch Series 5 product range next year with a special (PRODUCT)RED version.

The report states that the (PRODUCT)RED version of the Apple Watch Series 5 has already appeared in Apple's database and will use an aluminum case. Currently, the aluminum case Apple Watch Series 5 is available in Silver, Space Gray and Gold.

It remains to be seen when this Series 5 RED will be released. We may have to wait until March, where Apple is also expected to unveil new generation of the iPad Pro models and iPhone SE 2 (9?). As far as the price concerned, this version should be sold at the same prices as the aluminum models of Series 5, that is, $399 for 40mm with only GPS, $499 for 40mm with both GPS and cellular.

It’s worth noting that Apple launched the (PRODUCT)RED versions of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 in March 2017 and April 2018, respectively. Although it's unclear if Apple plans to release the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max in (PRODUCT) RED color, it's available as an option with the iPhone 11.

Each time when customers purchase a (PRODUCT)RED product, Apple will donate a portion of its profits to the (RED). Since 2006, the Cupertino firm has raised more than $220 million in donations.
