iPhone 12 Pro Max CAD Design Shows Smaller Bezels, LiDAR Scanner

In the video shared by Apple YouTuber EverythingApplePro, likely CAD design for the iPhone 12 Pro Max has surfaced, offers us a sneak peek into Apple's upcoming flagship smartphone.

It seems the thickness of the iPhone 12 Pro Max is narrowed to 7.4 mm, compared to the iPhone 11 Pro Max that has a thickness of 8.1 mm. iPhone 12 Pro Max uses a 6.7-inch OLED display, iPhone 11 Pro Max utilizes a 6.5-inch OLED display. Additionally, the bezels on the iPhone 12 Pro Max is extra petite because the bezels have shrunk from 2.52 mm in the 11 Pro Max to 1.55 mm.

In terms of cameras, the iPhone 12 Pro Max will feature a LiDAR scanner similar to the iPad Pro. The diameter of each lens will be larger. Although the notch that houses the TrueDepth front-facing camera in this design has not become smaller, EverythingApplePro's source claims that the notch of the iPhone 12 Pro Max will become smaller and narrower.

Some more video tidbits like iPhone 12 Pro Max could get 10 to 15 percent louder speakers, Power button is slightly lower on the side, and new colors may include light blue, purple, and light orange.

Finally, the antenna line on the sides of the iPhone 12 Pro Max will be wider to better support 5G.
