Analyst: iPhone 12 Price To Increase By $50 Despite No EarPods And Chargers

Multiple sources have confirmed that EarPods and power adapters will no longer be bundled in the box with iPhones in the future, starting with this year's lineup. Nevertheless, analyst Jeff Pu believes that the iPhone 12 models will be about $50 more expensive than the iPhone 11 lineup last year.

Jeff Pu predicted that this year's 5.4-inch iPhone 12 will start at $749, compare to the iPhone 11's $699 price tag. Jon Prosser of YouTube channel Front Page Tech, though, has claimed that the iPhone 12 lineup will start at $649.

The chief reason for the price increase is the addition of 5G and OLED display. while iPhone 11 uses an LCD display, and only iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max were OLED displays.

Thanks to the 5G support, Jeff Pu believes that most consumers will accept price increases.

It's anticipated that the price of the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 could be somewhere between $799 or $849.
