Leaker Claims 'iPhone 12 Pro' Models Will Feature 6GB Of RAM

Apple is expected to launch four new iPhones later this year, including two 5.4/6.1-inch iPhone 12 and two 6.1/6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro. Twitter user @L0vetodream claimed that Pro models will feature 6GB of RAM, while the mid-level models will retain the same 4GB of RAM that all iPhone 11 models have.

The extra RAM will enable the high-end iPhone to handle critical operations and should allow more apps or browser tabs to be opened in the background at the same time. Additional advantages would include improved operating performance of processor-intensive Camera applications.

Rumors have it that Apple will integrate a triple-lens-camera array on the "iPhone 12 Pro" and attach a LiDAR scanner to it, while the entry-level version will use a dual-camera system.

iPhone 12 is also anticipated to utilize a 5-nanometer A14 chip, which we can expect it will be smaller, faster, and more battery efficient thanks to improved thermal management.

L0vetodream has previously accurately claimed details of the new iPhone SE as well as that new iPad Pro models would launch in the third week of March.
