Kuo: AirTags, AR Device, New AirPods, And More Coming This Year

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is his latest research report claims that Apple will release several new products in 2021, including its long-awaited AirTags item trackers, an augmented reality device, new AirPods, ARM Macs, and other new products.

AirTags is expected to help users track personal items such as keys, wallets, and backpacks, and notify users on Apple devices when they are separated from tagged items. AirTags will be managed through a new Items tab in the "Find My" app.

Cupertino is also developing an augmented reality headset and glasses, or both, but Kuo did not specify. Both the iPhone and iPad also provide augmented reality capabilities, so it is unclear about this.

He also said that Apple plans to release the first devices with Mini-LED displays this year. There have been rumors that the new 12.9-inch iPad Pro with Mini-LED display and a variety of MacBook models will be released in 2021.

Kuo previously stated that Apple plans to release redesigned 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models in 2021. These models will use Apple Silicon and Mini-LED displays.

Apple has announced that the company plans to transform the entire Mac product lineup to utilize Apple Silicon processors in about two years. Other rumored models will also include a redesigned 24-inch iMac and a small desktop similar to the Mac Pro.
