Apple Releases iOS 13.1 Bea 1, watchOS 6 Beta 9, And tvOS 13 Beta 8

Apple today released the first beta of an upcoming iOS 13.1 update, while iOS 13 is still in the testing phase. The company also rolled out the ninth developer beta for watchOS 6 and eighth developer beta for tvOS 13. Developers who enrolled in Apple's Developer Program can download the profile for these updates from Apple's Developer Center, and from there to install these new builds over-the-air.

In iOS 13.1, it appears that Apple has brought back a couple of features that were missing in iOS 13 beta, such as Shortcuts Automation that let you create personal and home automation, Maps' Share ETA  function return, you can share the approximate time you arrive at a place with friends or family.

In addition, the update also introduced Dynamic Wallpapers feature to some older devices, whereas previously it was limited to iPhone X or newer devices. There is also a new AirPods volume indicator so that if your iPhone is connected to AirPods, you can see the AirPods icon on the indicator when you adjust the volume. This also applies to Powerbeats Pro, as well as HomePod.

Other features and changes in iOS 13.1 includes improved mouse support, apps installed by TestFlight will have a brighter yellow color on the left for easy viewing, updated System Fonts settings, new PDF Reading Goals inside the Books, and Maps Collection: when deleting a collection in the Maps app, there will be a pop-up window to re-confirm.

To our knowledge, there is nothing really exciting to info you about in the latest beta update of watchOS 6 and tvOS 13.
