Leaker Share Images Of iPhone 12 Dummy Units With iPad Pro-Style Design

Leaker Sonny Dickson has shared images of the iPhone 12 dummy units based on CAD drawings.

From the images, it confirms what we already knew regarding the iPhone 12. Apple is expected to launch four iPhones this year across three sizes of 5.4 inches, 6.1 inches, and 6.7 inches. Dickson's images clearly compare these three new sizes. It seems that the devices featuring an iPad Pro-style design with flat edges.

Unfortunately, the rear camera module in the Dickson image seems to be inconsistent with the rumors we have heard, and other aspects are generally consistent.  It has been reported that two 5.4 and 6.1-inch ‌iPhone 12‌ models will be sporting with a dual-lens camera, while two 6.1 and 6.7-inch ‌iPhone 12‌ Pro models will be outfitted with rear triple cameras system, and the 6.7-inch model will be equipped with a LiDAR scanner.

It's worthy of note that iPhone dummy units surface every year, usually a few months ahead of Apple's usual September-October launch timeframe. However, they may not be super accurate, as such dummy units are often used to aid case-makers to design iPhone cases before the official reveal.

iPhone 12 will come with support for 5G, with iPhone 12 models for the US market will support mmWave and sub-6GHz networks, but it has not been confirmed whether all markets will support these bands, and analysts have suggested this year's iPhone 12 will not come with EarPods headphones.
