Apple Now Offers SIM-Free iPhone For US Users, As They Releases iWatch Sport Bands As Well As iPhone Cases In Three New Colors

Starting today, the iPhone X is available SIM-free and unlocked directly from Apple in the United States, allowing customers to buy an unlocked iPhone without choosing a carrier. Even better, because Apple improved shipping estimates, so you can get an iPhone X with delivery by December 12th.

If you head to Apple’s Online Store, there’s a new fifth option available when choosing which iPhone X variant you want to buy, as see in the above image. In addition to the AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon models, there’s an option to purchase without a carrier at all.

SIM-free iPhone X models will work with any carrier and have full support for both CDMA and GSM networks, much like the Sprint and Verizon versions of the new smartphone. The AT&T and T-Mobile's iPhone X models do not support CDMA networks which means it's not compatible with Sprint or Verizon.

The unlocked iPhone X is a solid option for those who like to switch carriers or travel internationally on a regular basis. It also ensures that you aren’t in any way tied to down to a specific carrier or locked into a carrier financing program.

Apple has quietly added three new Apple Watch Sport bands to its online store, adding three new unique colors. The new bands are available in Spicy Orange, Dark Teal, and Flash, a bright shade of yellow. The new Apple Watch Sport bands, just like all Sport Bands, are available for both the 38 and 42mm Apple Watch models and are priced at $49.

Apple's Silicone Cases for the iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus are also available in three new colors, including Flash and Spicy Orange to match the new Sport Bands and Cosmos Blue. The new iPhone cases are priced at $39 for the X, $35 for the 8, and $39 for the 8 Plus.
