Apple Previews Its Upcoming 70 New Emojis Ahead Of World Emoji Day Tomorrow

In celebration of the upcoming World Emoji Day tomorrow, Apple has announced a new set of emojis that will be released this fall as part of the Unicode 11 emoji release. It’s expected that these emojis will be released alongside iOS 12.1 update.


Some of the emojis that are coming includes red hair, gray hair, curly hair, and no hair, cold face, party face, pleading face, heart face, kangaroo, peacock, parrot, lobster, moon cake, cupcake, mango, lettuce, and much much more. In total, there will be 70 emoji characters that are coming to Apple devices.

More than 70 new emoji characters are coming to iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac later this year in a free software update. The new emoji designs, created based on approved characters in Unicode 11.0, include even more hair options to better represent people with red hair, gray hair and curly hair, a new emoji for bald people, and new smiley faces that bring more expression to Messages with a cold face, party face, pleading face and a face with hearts.

Again, these emojis will be available across iOS 12, macOS Mojave, and watchOS 5 later this year. As of now, there are Thousands of emoji are currently available on your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac.
