Ming-Chi Kuo: New iPhones To Have More Color Choices, Better Than Expected Sales, And More

Well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has released a report today that he expects the upcoming 6.5-inch OLED iPhone model to be priced around $1000 like the current iPhone X, as it will feature dual-SIM capabilities. Kuo also detailed what he eliminated when it comes to sales of these iPhones, and insists Apple to provide more colors to these devices.

Firstly, Kuo suggests since the 6.1-inch LCD version is shipped earlier than expected, and the demand for the 6.5-inch OLED version may be better than expected, the new iPhone shipments could gain by about 10% in the second half of the year, from 75 million to 85 million, 80 million to 90 million.

Sales wise, he believes Apple will ships 15 million to 20 million and 60 million to 70 million units in the second half, respectively, both of which showed growth compared to the same period last year. And the market is generally conservative about the new iPhone sales in Q3 and Q4 of 2018,

Ming-Chi Kuo mentioned that new iPhones supposed to have more color options, whereas the 6.5-inch OLED iPhone will be offered in black, white and gold. The budget LCD iPhone will possibly debut in grey, white, blue, red and orange.
