Samsung Released Galaxy Note 9 With Powerful Performance, Support Of New S Pen Stylus, Dex System, And More

Samsung today officially released the latest flagship smartphone Galaxy Note 9, along with the new Galaxy Watch, the Wireless Charger Duo wireless charger, and the Galaxy Home smart speaker at an event that's held in New York, New York.

Firstly, the Galaxy Note 9 has a 6.4-inch 2960 x 1400 Super AMOLED screen that supports the latest S Pen stylus and is quite similar in design to the previous Note 8.

In terms of configuration, Note 9 is featured with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip with Water Carbon Cooling System for high-end apps and games, equipped with 6 ~ 8GB RAM, dual AKG speakers and 4000mAh battery. Like S9, the flagship model also uses a 12-megapixel dual camera system, as well as of an Intelligent Camera function for improved image quality.


The new S Pen stylus comes with Bluetooth support, which can be employed to control the camera of Note 9, such as self-timer, control video playback. Samsung has also created an SDK development framework that allows developers to incorporate the functionality of S Pen into their own apps, which will be available later this year.

Note 9 bundles with a USB-C port, a headphone jack, a front iris scanner, and a rear fingerprint scanner. The smartphone also supports the DeX system, which turns your smartphone into a desktop setup that supports both a mouse and a keyboard.

For the Note 9 entry model, which is priced at $1,000, that will get you a 128GB of storage and 6GB of storage. As for the high-end model, it will come in 8GB of storage and 512GB of storage for up to $1,300 of the price tag, Samsung now accepts pre-orders and will be available for sale on August 24.


In addition to Note 9, Samsung also released a new Galaxy Watch smartwatch with a round face that supports LTE data networks. It uses a Corning DX+ glass material, has better battery life than the previous generation, and is said to last a few days on a single charge. The South Korean headquartered company also launches a Bixby-enabled speaker and an AirPower alternative.
