Apple Pay Cash May Coming To France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Poland, Sweden, And Russia Very Soon

According to the French technology blog iphon.fr, the Apple Pay Cash is about to launch in certain European markets. Today, some French users have found invitations on their Apple Watch and iPhone to set up Apple Pay Cash using a credit card issued by a French bank.


In addition to France, the mobile peer-to-peer payments service is also coming to several other countries like Austria, Italy, Poland, Sweden, and Russia, as the Support Page for these markets goes live, and the Apple Pay Cash Support page also has a German translation.

First introduced on WWDC 2017, the Apple Pay Cash feature allows you do a quick person-to-person money transfers, much like competing services Square Cash and Venmo. The mobile payment solution can only be used in iMessage, after you received some money, it will goes into the Wallet app, you can either make a purchase or transfer to a bank account.

You will need a device that's running iOS 11.2 or later, and a Apple Watch that's updated to watchOS 4.2 and later. Apple also suggest you to enable Two-Factor authentication for your Apple ID in case someone stole it. Lastly, you need to add your bank card to Apple Pay Cash and verify your identity.
