Pipe Jeffery Survey Indicates That More People Plans To Upgrade To iPhone XS And XS Max

Pipe Jeffery surveyed more than 700 iPhone users in the US, asking questions about which iPhone they would buy if they wanted to upgrade this year. 39% of respondents chose iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max, while the remaining 61% of respondents said they prefer the upcoming iPhone XR, iPhone 7 or the iPhone 8.

Their previous model claims only 35% of respondents would choose iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max. It should be noted that considering that the iPhone XR is not yet on the market, once the user who intends to compares the iPhone XS and XR, and then determine whether it worth to upgrade, so the proportion of users who choose iPhone XR may change.

Pipe Jeffrey analysts have raised the average selling price of the iPhone in FY 2019 from the previous estimate of $758 to $770. If the iPhone XR accounts large percent of sales, the average price will reach $780. Anyway, the number planning to buy one of this year’s models is good news for Apple after all.

Furthermore, it's believed that iPhone XS Max was three to four times more popular than the 5.8-inch iPhone XS, which make sense since many buyers want to have a bigger screen, and those who haven't upgraded for a while. Still, it would be better if Apple decided to release another small screen iPhone SE, the market isn't dead!
